Ice Skating in Central Park

We did it. Mike took me ice skating in central park against his better judgment, but to both of our surprise he did not fall (but came close many times). I had a great time and am glad that we were able to do this before leaving NYC.

Snowmen

I finally made a snowman today in McCarren Park with Amanda. My first snowman! The snow was still very powdery but we were able to make small snowmen at least. Then we went to get some bahn mi. I will miss Vietnamese sandwiches.

Moving!

We are finally starting packing everything up and getting ready to move to Nashville. I am excited and terrified. We are getting a zip car to pick up some boxes and lucky for us we had a blizzard last night so the city is covered with snow. This is our back patio, the snow is about 4 feet high in some places. I just hope that it is not too powdery so that we can make a snowman. Being from Texas I have never made a snow man. Stay tuned for pictures (hopefully!).

Rockefeller Tree Lighting

I went to the Christmas tree lighting tonight at the Rockefeller Building. It was crowded and rainy, but definitely worth it. Something I would have never have done if I were not leaving New York soon. All in all, glad I did it.
